Reason for urgency:
The decision relates to the appointment of contractors to deliver the works required following our successful bid for Green Homes Grant Phase 1B funding. Prior to the receipt of the decision to award the funding we were not in a position to proceed with the procurement, as it was conditional upon the grant funding being obtained. This prevented us from putting the report on the forward plan.

Any delay in appointing contractors will compromise our ability to deliver the works we have committed to in our grant bid by the scheme deadline of September 2021.
