We no longer print waste collection calendars - check your bin collections online 

Calendars for 2025 will be available to download from Monday 2 December. From this date, you'll also be able to request calendars in other formats (large print, Braille).

    ASHBY TIC

    We the undersigned petition North West Leicestershire District Council to Re-open Ashby Tourist Information Office.

    NWLDC have made it clear that they nbwish to close the TIC. This valuable resource is located in the Library building and is used by many Ashby organisations to promote and sell tickets for events taking place in the town and beyond.
    It is a valuable resource for information by residents and tourists alike.
    Ashby people are very proud of their TIC and it is fitting that such a place exists in the Heart of the National Forest.
    The TIC has not re-opened since the Covid outbreak and the Council have not given a good reason for it to remain closed.
    Ashby Civic Society wish to petition the Council to keep this service in operation and to continue to use our rates for our benefit.
