Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Minutes:

The Public Protection Team Leader presented the report to Members.

 

Most members welcomed and supported the report but expressed disappointment that officers from the team would not be attending future meetings to present the report. Some concerns were raised over performance of the service.

 

Members requested that officers from the service attended future meetings to present the reports.

 

It was moved by Councillor J Legrys, seconded by A Bridgen and

 

RESOLVED THAT:

 

  1. The report be noted.

 

  1. Pressure be put on management to ensure officers attend future meetings to present the reports.
