Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

To extend the Rural Housing Partnership Agreement for the procurement and Management of the Rural Housing Enabling Strategic Partner

Reasons for the decision:

County wide Steering Group led by Lynn Aisbett Chief Executive Melton BC carried out options appraisal during 2013 to agree best way forward to deliver the Strategic aims of the LRP. Original partnership ends on 1st April 2017. All partnership members agreed to fund for extra year to ensure that existing commitments were completed and to use the extension period to investigate ways to ensure that the strategic aims of the LRP are supported moving forwards.

Alternative options considered:

Continuation of original partnership agreement where Midlands Rural Housing were chosen to carry out rural housing needs surveys to ensure a consistency of approach across the County.
