Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Award of contract for the continuation of bill payment services (including collection of chip and pin payments).

Reasons for the decision:

Following a proper procurement through a framework, the contract is awarded to maintain essential payment collection services for the benefit of the Council's revenue account and the convenience of citizens.

Alternative options considered:

There is no in house facility to provide this service. Procurement through a framework was preferred to an open market procurement due to time constrains following the existing provider notifying the Council that it was ceasing this service shortly.
