Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Reasons for the decision:

Following the proper tender process, the Council enters into a contract for architect's services to support a planning application being pursued by the Council.

Alternative options considered:

In-house capacity and skills were considered however the knock-on effect on services of using in-house resources and the particular skill needed for supporting this project made this un-viable.
