Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Following a procurement process the decision has been made to award the contract for cash collection to Kings Armoured Security Services at the estimated value of £87,546.50 (over five years).

Reasons for the decision:

The procurement process identified Kings as the most economically advantageous supplier.

Alternative options considered:

There is no capability of delivering the service using in-house functions. The procurement process included the advertising of the opportunity in order that other suppliers were considered.
