Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

To enter into a County wide Rural Partnership Agreement for the procurement and management of the rural housing enabler (RHE) strategic partner.

Reasons for the decision:

To progress procurement of RHE Strategic Partner.

Alternative options considered:

County wide Steering Group led by Lynn Aisbett Chief Executive Melton BC carried out options appraisal during 2013 to agree best way forward to deliver the Strategic aims of the LRP. Option of each Leicestershire LA undertaking separate rural housing needs surveys was discounted along with the employment of a specialist individual due to the disadvantages around cohesion of approach & delivery.
