Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Award of contract as follows:

On 30 September 2014, Statutory officers allowed an
exemption to the Council's contract procedure rule 5.11
to allow the direct award of a rolling one year contract to
Abritas Ltd for the provision of a web-based Choice Based
Lettings system. The exemption will be reported to
Cabinet on 21 October 2014 by the Director of Housing
pursuant to CPR 3.1.3

Reasons for the decision:

To ensure continuity of service pending the outcome of
an options appraisal regarding the future method of
allocating social homes.
