Decision:
a) Approve the implementation of the District
Lettings Plan 2015
b) Approve the Direct Match criteria
c) Instruct the Housing Choices Team Manager to complete the
appropriate officer decision record for audit purposes.
Reasons for the decision:
To enable the implementation of the annual
lettings plan and provide clarity for the criteria to be met in
order for direct matches to be made.
Alternative options considered:
Consideration was given to presenting a report
to Cabinet for decision, Legal Services advised that there was
sufficient flexibility in the policy for the portfolio holder and
Director of Housing to make the decision under delegated powers
afforded by Cabinet as part of their recommendations on 4 March
2013.
