Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Reasons for the decision:

The District Council has been consulted by Leicester City Council in respect of its proposed submission draft Local Plan.

Alternative options considered:

The matter was due to be considered by the Local Plan Committee on 21 February 2023, but the meeting was cancelled. As the closing date for comments is 27 February 2023 there is not time to take to another meeting. However, the Portfolio Holders for Planning and Infrastructure were consulted and supported the proposed response.
