Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Decision:

The appointment of the Economic Development Manager as the representative of NWLDC to the Board of the BID Company.

Reasons for the decision:

The Economic Development is best placed to work with the Ashby BID Company has pre-existing working relationship with the representatives and businesses of the BID and the relevant departments within the District Council that will engage with the BID Company moving forward.

Alternative options considered:

The Director of Place and the Head of Economic Development were also considered to assume the role with the Ashby BID company.
