Decision details
Hugglescote & Donington le Heath Neighbourhood Plan.
Decision Maker: Strategic Director of Place
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Decision:
To determine whether the Hugglescote
Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to Referendum
Reasons for the decision:
Officers have considered the recommendations
of the Examiner . They are of the view that the Proposed
Modifications are appropriate and that the Neighbourhood Plan is
considered to contribute to sustainable development within the
Neighbourhood Area and would meet the basic conditions as defined
in the Localism Act 2011, Schedule 10 and Schedule 4B, 8 (2) of the
Town and Country Planning Act 1990, subject to the recommended
alterations set out in the Examiner’s report.
Alternative options considered:
The Council has to decide whether to proceed
to Referendum within 5 weeks of receipt of the Examiners Report.
Due to the timescales it was not possible to take a report to the
Local Plan Committee.
The plan has been subject to Examination, and has been found to be
acceptable , subject to some modifications, so not proceeding to
Referendum was considered to be inappropriate.
