Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Decision:

Revisions to the National Restrictions Discretionary Grant Policy to allow grants to be provided to businesses for national restrictions that started in January 2021. Changes include:
- Revised payment dates and values in line with government guidance
- Additional of a top-up payment for businesses with business premises, in line with the closed business support package
- Provision for a streamlined application process for businesses already in receipt of a grant.

Reasons for the decision:

To provide businesses with further grants following the announcement of further national restrictions.

Alternative options considered:

None - this was revision of previous policy in response to a new period of national restrictions.
