To sign off the Statement of Common Ground on behalf of NWLDC

Reasons for the decision:

The Statement of Common Ground has been agreed by all of the Leicester and Leicestershire authorities and sets out how the authorities will work together to address the issue of unmet housing and employment needs in Leicester. Sign off is required to demonstrate formal support from NWLDC

Alternative options considered:

Whether to report to Cabinet. As the Statement of Common Ground only commits the Council to working collaboratively with the other Leicester and Leicestershire authorities it was considered unnecessary to seek formal approval.
