Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Agree to designate Long Whatton and Diseworth parish as a Neighbourhood Plan area

Reasons for the decision:

Regulation 5A (as inserted by the 2016 The Neighbourhood Planning (General) and Development Management Procedure (Amendment) Regulations) requires that where an application for designation is received from a parish council and the area proposed to be designated consists of the whole of the parish council’s area then the application should be approved. The proposed Neighbourhood Plan area includes all of the parish of Long Whatton and Diseworth

In view of the requirements of Regulation 5A the Council has no option but to agree to designate
