Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Decision:

A decision to approve a discretionary payment scheme for test and trace payments - Covid 19.

Reasons for the decision:

Government announced the scheme in late September in response to COVID 19 Track and Trace. Customers have become eligible 28 September for payment. The scheme needed to be live by 12th October. This fell between cabinet dates and afforded no time for a normal EDN / decision making route.

Alternative options considered:

Waiting for next cabinet cycle. Not possible due to decision making timelines.
