Decision:
Following a competitive procurement and having
the appropriate authority, the Strategic Director of Housing and
Customer Services has decided to enter in to a contract for the
provision of fixed electrical installation testing services.
Reasons for the decision:
To introduce a 5-year cyclical programme of
fixed electrical installation testing as an extension of current
Housing services.
Alternative options considered:
Alternative providers were considered as part
of the procurement process. There is no in-house resource with
capacity to undertake this work.
