It was moved by Councillor A Barker, seconded by Councillor C Beck and

 

RESOLVED THAT:

 

Councillor R Johnson be elected as Chair for the meeting.

Exclusion of Press and Public

The officers consider that the press and public should be excluded during consideration of the following items in accordance with Section 100(a) of the Local

Government Act 1972 as publicity would be likely to result in disclosure of exempt

or confidential information.

 

Minutes:

Councillor R Johnson moved that the press and public be excluded during the consideration of the dual driver’s licence. It was seconded by Councillor A Barker and

 

RESOLVED THAT:

 

In pursuance of Section 100(a) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the consideration of the dual driver’s licence on the grounds that the business involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Section 100(a) of the Local Government Act 1972 and that the public interest in maintaining this exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Consideration of a Dual Driver's Licence

The report of the Licensing Team Leader.

Minutes:

The Chair introduced the meeting and outlined the procedures to be followed.

 

The Licensing Team Leader presented the report and a discussion was had.

 

The meeting adjourned at 3:54pm for the Panel to deliberate.

 

The meeting convened at 4:10pm.

 

The Legal Advisor read out the Decision Notice and

 

RESOLVED THAT:

 

The taxi driver’s licence be revoked with a public safety warning.
