    The report of the Strategic Director of Communities

    Presented by the Communities and Climate Change Portfolio Holder

     

    Minutes:

    The Community and Climate Change Portfolio Holder presented the report.

     

    It was moved by Councillor M Wyatt, seconded by Councillor T Saffell and

     

    RESOLVED THAT:

     

    1. The acceptance of grant funding, as detailed in the report be approved.

     

    1. The award of a contract for the installation of the Solar PV charging hub as detailed in the report be approved.

     

    1. The supplementary estimate as detailed in the report be approved.

     

    1. Authority be delegated to Director of Housing and Communities in conjunction with the Community and Climate Change Portfolio Holder and Section 151 Officer to finalise and enter into all necessary agreements.

     

    Reason for decision: Due to the total amount of both the grant and the contract with the installer, it is a decision for Cabinet as to whether to enter into an agreement to accept the grant and to award a contract to complete the works
