Neighbourhood Plan area
Reasons for the decision:
Regulation 5A (as inserted by the 2016 The
Neighbourhood Planning (General) and Development Management
Procedure (Amendment) Regulations) requires that where an
application for designation is received from a parish council and
the area proposed to be designated consists of the whole of the
parish council’s area then the application should be
approved
Alternative options considered:
In view of the requirements of Regulation 5A
the Council has no option but to agree to designate
