Reason for urgency:
Due to the need to report the item to Community Scrutiny Committee in the first instance and as sufficient information wasn’t available to report anything to Cabinet prior to this time. In order to to endorse the statement of intent which sets out the shared aspirations of the relevant local authorities for the development corporation proposition, and North West Leicestershire District Council’s participation and involvement in the establishment of a suitable interim delivery structure created to undertake development activities before the establishment of a statutory locally led development corporation, prior to the Development Corporation Oversight Board on 5th March 2020.
