Decision:
Following a competitive procurement and having
the appropriate authority, the Head of Housing and Property has
decided to enter into a contract for the provision of aids and
adaptations in council housing stock.
Reasons for the decision:
To continue programme of installing and
upgrading specialist facilities in the homes of our most vulnerable
Council tenants, therefore providing help and reducing risks with
daily living.
Alternative options considered:
Alternative providers were considered as part
of the procurement process. There is no in-house resource with
capacity to undertake this work
