To endorse the final concept design for Marlborough Square; To accept ownership and responsibility for the square upon completion of works; To commission the county council, as highway authority, to design and build the works; To delegate to the Director of Place, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder, responsibility for obtaining all permissions, and to undertake consultation, with respect to the works; and To delegate to the Director of Place in consultation with the Portfolio Holder the suspension of existing car parking, taxi ranks, and bus stops within the square, and re-provide same elsewhere.
