Following a competitive procurement by
Efficiency East Midlands, the Director of Housing has decided to
enter in to a contract for the supply of asbestos removal and
reinstatement services.
Reasons for the decision:
To provide specialist asbestos removal
services in support of the delivery of responsive, cyclical and
planned works programmes managed by Housing's Asset Management
Team
Alternative options considered:
Alternative providers were considered as part
of the procurement process. There is no in-house capability to
undertake this work.
