Grass-cutting on council properties | Due to wet conditions of the grass, we may not be able to cut all of the grass areas of our council properties at this current time; this includes our parks, open spaces and play areas. Our team are surveying the sites and as soon as the areas are dry enough, our team will be grass-cutting as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Decision:

To sign the contract with Leicestershire County Council to recover abandoned vehicles. The Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978 places a duty on the District Council to remove vehicles which we class as abandoned and present them to the County Council. The County Council arrange the contract to facilitate this.

Reasons for the decision:

To agree the contract for Leicestershire County Council to collect abandoned vehicles within the District.
